Géneral conditions : Article 1: Securing Your Reservation : The reservation is secured once the first payment, i.e. 30% of the total rate for your room, has been received. It will be cashed immediately. The first payment means that you accept the general conditions. There are three ways to make the first payment : - By cheque to Mr et Mme Patrick Quintin, to include with your reservation form. - By bank deposit, which might be safer and, providing your bank does not charge you, less expensive. - By bank card, in which case you will need to give Chantal and Patrick your authorization. Once the first payment has been cashed, your reservation is secure and you are considered to have accepted the general conditions. Article 2: Total Payment The rest of the payment must be made on the day of arrival. Article Art.3 : Residence tax ` The city of La Rochelle has opted for a taxe system of residence tax to the real. The hosts of the other municipalities of the agglomeration must collect the tax from all their custumers whatever the marketing site used.` The service of Community of Agglomeration of La Rochelle remain at your disposal to inform you : agglolarochelle@taxesejour.fr or by phone : 335 46 30 24 34 The amount of this tax is 0,83€ for B&B per adult and per night to be added to the price displayed by La Collégiale. Article 4 : Time of Arrival The guest rooms are available as of 4h30 pm. You are requested not to arrive after 9 pm and to let us know in advance if you plan to arrive after 7 pm. Article 5: Time of Departure You must vacate your rooms by 10 am. If you leave after this time, you may have to pay an extra night. Article 6: Room Change The owners may have to put you in a different room from the one you booked. It will sleep the same number of people or more. There will be no difference in the price and you will not be entitled to any reimbursement either. Article 7: Animals Pets are not allowed in the guesthouse. Article 8: Children Children are welcome and may use Chantal and Patrick’s garden. Their parents are solely responsible for whatever happens to them. Article 9: Guest Rooms and Car Parks Guests are asked to leave the guest rooms in good condition and must report any damage, and pay for it. The car parks are at your disposal, but they must be perfectly clean and undamaged when you leave. You will be charged for any damage and the invoice will never be less than 50€. Guests may not use Chantal’s kitchen but they may use the kitchen in the Nest of the “Collégiale”. Article 10: Responsibility Personal effects remain the responsibility of their owners. If bicycles disappear or are damaged, Patrick and Chantal cannot be held responsible. Article 11: Cancelling Your Stay The first payment, i.e. 30% of the price, will be kept by Chantal and Patrick. If you have not occupied your rooms by 7 pm (and have not given advance warning that you would arrive after 7 pm), Patrick and Chantal may dispose of your rooms and keep the first payment. No money will be refunded. If you have to leave before the day you said you would, you must pay the entire cost of your stay as initially booked.
